Deaconess Cross Pointe is seeking a supplemental FNP to join our experienced team of Psychiatrists and several Advanced Practice Nurses. This hourly position does not require Mental Health Certification or specialist. The candidate will complete History & Physicals on newly admitted patients on a rotating basis with other NPs. Primary role will be to complete all admitted patient's medical H&Ps within 24 hours of admission. Candidates should be licensed in the State of Indiana with full prescriptive authority and certified by the ANCC/AANP as a Nurse Practitioner. Experience in primary care medicine outpatient or inpatient and behavioral health settings is preferred. Job Duties include the following, other duties may be assigned: ●Obtains histories and performs physical examinations. ●Diagnoses and manages acute and chronic health conditions via evidence based guidelines. ●Orders, conducts, and interprets diagnostic studies and laboratory tests. ●Performs diagnostic and therapeutic procedures including but not limited to suturing, wound care, incision and drainage, splinting, casting, biopsies, invasive procedures such a line placement, etc. in accordance with training, scope of pr...
