Position Summary: Under the direct supervision of the Director of Specialty Services Operations, and the clinical oversight of the Director of Ambulatory Care, the Specialty Ambulatory Care Manager, RN operates as a key clinical leader supporting Specialty Care. This role collaborates regularly with the Associate Chief Medical Officer of Specialty Services, working effectively to strengthen the partnership between clinical and operations leadership and ensuring the implementation of the San Ysidro Health model of care which is designed to deliver safe high-quality care and improve the health outcomes of the communities we serve. The Specialty Ambulatory Care Manager, RN hires, trains, and manages all assigned Specialty Care nursing staff; ensuring appropriate training and resource support are provided for the delivery of licensed and non-licensed clinical care at assigned clinics. This role identifies the population specific opportunities to increase health potential, improve health outcomes, and close care gaps by monitoring provider, care team, and clinic performance data.
