Facility Betsy Johnson Hospital Location: Dunn, North Carolina Department: Respiratory Care Services Job Family: Allied Health Work Shift: Days (United States of America) Summary: Performs all aspects and modalities of Respiratory Care to Health System patients per department guidelines. Responds to resuscitation situations and other respiratory emergencies when needed. Maintains and completes appropriate documentation in patients’ charts and departmental records. Performs as charge therapist when necessary. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Major Job Functions: The following is a summary of the major essential functions of this job. In addition, specific functions may change from time to time: Administer continuous oxygen and continuous bland aerosol therapy per department guidelines Performs intermittent therapy and diagnostic procedures per department guidelines Access patient medication from the Medication Security Area to implement respiratory care per hospital and departmental policies and procedures Initiate and maintain mechanical ventilation and completes appropriate documentation P...
