Primary Job Duties & Responsibilities: Performs a variety of patient care duties within the construct of a multidisciplinary patient care team as delegated by the physician. Serves as an assistant to physicians and nurses for physical examination and treatments, while performing surgical preps and simple dressing changes. Prepares patient for examination by performing and recording preliminary vitals such as blood pressure, temperature, and weight. Communicates abnormal symptoms, unusual conditions, or adverse reactions to physicians to proactively address and resolve issues.
