Job Summary: The Admitting Representative ensures timely and accurate registration of all patients and is responsible for insurance benefit verification/certification and collecting the patient's anticipated financial responsibility at the time of service as applicable. Exemplifies excellent customer service at all times. Minimum Education: HSD or GED. Associate's Degree in healthcare related field preferred. Licensure, Registration and/or Certification: None. Work Experience: 1 year related experience in health insurance field or two years hospital registration experience required. Direct experience in hospital precertification and benefit/eligibility verification desired. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Excellent customer service skills, effective interpersonal and oral communication skills.
