Description Winthrop University, a highly ranked, public, comprehensive university, announces a search for an Adjunct Professors in the Department of Fine Arts within the College of Visual and Performing Arts. The assignment commences academic year 20-21, and subsequent assignments are determined on a semester by semester basis. Fine Arts is seeking adjunct faculty with expertise in various content areas. Our needs for adjunct faculty vary from semester to semester, but typically include: Winthrop enrolls a diverse student body, which closely mirrors the racial and ethnic diversity in the state, and has recently received accolades for its success in graduating students of color. - Foundations (2D design, Drawing, 3D Design) - Jewelry/Metals - Sculpture - Photography - Painting - Ceramics - Printmaking - Video - 2d/3d Digital Studio - Art History - Interdisciplinary Studio Art Qualifications: Adjunct faculty teaching undergraduate courses at Winthrop University are expected to hold a master’s degree or higher in the teaching disciplines.
