Description This position is responsible for overall shift operations, including but not limited to setting up and breaking down packaging line based upon operation schedule. Ensuring correct material while adhering to standard operating procedures. Will have oversight and monitoring of temporary employees. Must have strong attention to detail and quality assurance. Responsible to ensure strong communication and follow up across shifts. Often responsible for “hand’s-on” tasks and duties to ensure efficient and safe operations . Responsibilities/Duties/Functions/Tasks: - Responsible for setting up/breaking down line. - Pull correct material and ensuring Lot sensitive, Item sensitive and Location sensitive information. - Understand SOPs and properly instituting them. - Facilitate effective and timely communication across all shifts. - Provide Temporary employee guidance. - Responsible for safe forklift operation and to assist operations when needed. - Supports employees in day to day operations, tasks and troubleshooting. - Monitoring that shop rate is met while maintaining quality. - Ability to move temps around to increase output. - Provides attention to detail and proactively addr...
