Job description
Provides outpatient clinical care and inpatient surgical services. Provides on call services at other clinical sites as needed and assigned. Completes clinical documentation and other tasks as required. Performs other duties as assigned. Responsible to a licensed health care practitioner or other appropriate higher level administrator of a medical or professional school of a State university. Responsible for clinical activities relating to the advanced fellowship training program. Responsible for conducting research in specialized areas of health care, and for writing reports on research objectives and results. May participate in teaching activities. May provide services under a Professional Services Agreement that clearly distinguishes services from those within the advanced training program. Medical degree from an accredited institution. Completion of an accredited Ophthalmology residency training program. Must meet university criteria for faculty appointment to the rank of clinical postdoctoral scholar.
