Your Opportunity to SHINE ON: The purpose of this position is to help fulfill the mission of the YMCA-YWCA of Winnipeg by maximizing grant support for the organization and building relationships between the Y and current and potential supporters. Reporting to the Executive Director, Fund Development, this position is responsible for leading, expanding and executing the YMCA-YWCA’s extensive grants program, including all solicitation phases, cultivation, stewardship, and where necessary grant communications and impact reports. The Grants and Reporting Specialist is also responsible for managing relationships with donors and external partners, as well as supporting leadership in government relations to facilitate ongoing support for vital community programs and capital initiatives, while furthering the organization’s data strategy to support philanthropic success.
