Job description

The Rope Access Coordinator serves as the subject matter expert at the Lab level and acts as a representative of the MISTRAS Rope Access Center of Excellence. They are responsible for the safe and efficient execution of industrial rope access work carried out by the rope access teams. This position is responsible for oversight and compliance to all relevant legislation, regulations, and standards. Adherence to MISTRAS and client safety programs is paramount. Excellent communication skills with management, the client, other contractors and employees is required for this position. Major Responsibilities/Position Summary: Lead or contribute to various meetings (e.g., scheduling, weekly staff, production, campaign kick-off, or daily safety meetings). - Ensure all MISTRAS Rope Access Technicians operate in accordance with MISTRAS Rope Access Procedures and relevant company, customer and industry standards. - Work in the field as a Rope Access Supervisor. - Consistently demonstrate and promote adherence to company and client procedures and policies, including but not limited to safety, health, and environmental policies. - Manage the rope access quality, safety and training programs in c...
