Learning Support Assistant (SEND) required for 1:1 care for a child with health needs We are seeking to recruit a capable, proactive and caring individual to provide educational support to a pupil with health needs. Whilst the successful candidate will predominantly be working within a small team to support an individual pupil, they will also be an integrated member of Horniman Primary schools' community. The role involves closely monitoring the pupil to ensure their wellbeing, support their learning and communication and to maximise their educational and social opportunities. The successful candidate will have a genuine desire to work with pupils with a range of needs. A good standard of literacy and numeracy is a prerequisite for this post. If you can nurture and support individual pupils whilst having the flexibility and confidence to find ways to help them engage with their learning, then this could be the post for you. Training will be provided prior to commencement and a long handover. CVs are not accepted.
