Overview The Work: The Ophthalmic Technician will contribute to a stable workforce tasked with providing quality health care services to a diverse beneficiary population. This position performs all duties and responsibilities in accordance with the Mission, Vision, and Core Values of Cayuse. Responsibilities: Key Responsibilities: The Ophthalmic Technician will perform a full range of technical care, special knowledge, skills, and professional capabilities relative to ophthalmic services and refractions at the Laser Center. This position aligns with the core values of promoting a safe and healthy work environment, ensuring employee well-being, and upholding the highest standards of medical care. - Perform a full range of technical care, using Government furnished facilities, equipment, and supplies. Caseload includes scheduled and unscheduled requirements for care. - Perform a full range diagnostic examinations and provide the quality and timelines of treatment records and reports required to document procedures performed and care provided.
