About the Position We move fast around here, so we’re in need of an Assistant Chief Building Engineer to help keep our buildings in tiptop shape so that we can stay cool and safe while bustling. Not only will you get to maintain some of the coolest buildings in beautiful St. Pete (not to brag, but they are pretty cool), you’ll be in charge of developing and executing building-specific maintenance and safety procedures. You’ll also manage all operational aspects of building systems, but we’ll dive into that next… Position Responsibilities: - Oversee all building systems including fire/life safety, plumbing, HVAC, and electrical issues - Must remain current with latest HVAC technology and safety trends - Develop specifications and oversee maintenance/repair service contracts; develop and write RFP’s while maintaining budget impacts as required for projects - Oversee preventative maintenance schedule on all HVAC, plumbing and electrical systems - Recommend and implement improvements for preventive maintenance programs on an on-going basis - Develop comprehensive annual inspection process for facilities - Coordinate with outside contractors for equipment service and repair - Request, r...
