Job Description GTRI’s Cooperative Education (“co-op”) program offers you extensive opportunities to participate in diverse scientific and technological endeavors, use state-of-the-art equipment and rapidly improve your technical and leadership skills. The program allows you to alternate three semesters of full-time work at GTRI with semesters of full-time school. Work with our research engineers to develop adaptive wireless communications systems. Have you ever wanted to work in advanced wireless communications areas such as 5G, IoT, or Wi-Fi? As a Co-op, you will learn skills in these areas to propel your career forward. If you have a good handle on the basics of ECE and are good at learning new things, then you already have the basic knowledge to get started here, and to work with our research engineers to develop adaptive wireless communications systems. We train our students with a positive attitude and work ethic and strive to transition them into full-time employees upon graduation.
