Description Advanced Practice Provider Sign on Bonus opportunity of $25,000 based on 3+ years of Specialty APP (APRN, PA, DNP) experience . Eligibility for quarterly productivity-based bonus also offered. Must live within an hour's drive to Little Rock, for call. Description: The physician extender collaborates with the physician and other health care professionals to provide medical services including direct patient care, medical record documentation and follow-up care. The Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner operates within the standards of care and scope of practice as defined by the State of Arkansas. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: - Performs comprehensive exams of patients related to men and women’s health issues. - Identifies differential diagnoses and establishes priorities of care for the presenting problem. - Assists in the development of a treatment plan and appropriate follow up care. - Communicates pertinent patient information to the supervising physician. - Educates the patient about the diagnosis and treatment plan. - Orders, interprets, and evaluates tests. - Obtains informed consent for all procedures. - Exercises prescriptive authority as outlined in...
