Job description

Major Job Activities Description: - Operate ground support equipment. - Operate portable firefighting equipment. - Monitor and assist the line move crew when operating inside the hangar. - Prepare aircraft for washing by ensuring vent areas are taped and all protective covers are in place. - Wash and rinse external and internal surface of aircraft and aircraft components to remove grease, dirt, oil, fungus and stains. - Polish and clean windshields and canopies with water, polishing and cleaning compounds and cloth. - Perform pre/post wash lubrication and procedures. - Document work accomplished on government and company electronic and/or manual Information Systems. - Maintain cleanliness of the work center and around your assigned work area. - Responsible for adhering to all applicable Foreign Object Damage (FOD) prevention rules and regulations. - Responsible for adhering to the Tool Control Program. - Must comply with established General and Industrial Safety Rules and Regulations as applicable to the contract, facilities and job assignment. - Monitor and assist the line move crew when operating inside the hangar. - Pursuant to the specific provisions of the CBA, at the discreti...
