Advertisement Closes: 04/27/2026 12:00 AM Pay Grade: Grade 10 Salary: $13.50 - $16.79 Hourly Time Type: Full time Health Department: Lake Cumberland District Health Department Summary: Bilingual (English/Spanish a plus) General Duties include, but are not limited to: Family Support Worker I - Conduct regularly planned visits to establish a trusting rapport for eligible HANDS families; Assist parents with child development, parenting skills, health services and other needed resources identified at the initial assessment or during visits; Maintain confidentiality of program information obtained from home visits and exchanges while communicating with community and support service providers; Provide support to parents during the prenatal period and up to, but not inclusive of the child’s third birthday following the initial parent visit assessment; Facilitate family visitations that may take place in the client’s home or another community site, if justified; Monitor and document the progress of the parent and child(ren); Prepare and maintain case records which shall be documented with contacts, services needed, reports and progress; Confer with the Program Coordinator and/or Supervisor...
