Job description

About the Job The Dean of the School of Music provides leadership for the music department’s programs, faculty, and students. Responsible for managing the day-to-day operations and quality of education students receive while actively teaching in the classroom. Will recruit and hire traditional evangelical Christian faculty who are able to integrate CCU’s Statement of Faith & Religious Convictions and Strategic Priorities into the classroom. Ensures the department through its educational activities and programs contributes to CCU’s mission (Christ-centered higher education transforming students to impact the world with grace and truth). Will develop relevant programs in both traditional and contemporary Christian music. Provides students with opportunities to serve in the Christian communities with a variety of music opportunities. Includes promoting CCU to prospective students and designed to help increase enrollment to allow CCU to expand it’s reach with students for Kingdom works and increasing the reach of the gospel to others.
