Department: The Division of Information Technology (DoIT) has approximately 85 full-time staff members and 100 undergraduate or graduate students who work each day to support the mission of UMBC through the delivery of IT services to the campus. DoIT provides robust, secure IT environments that enable solutions for advancing the UMBC community. Position Overview: The IT Analyst serves as a vital bridge between technical compliance and digital accessibility, ensuring that the university’s digital landscape is inclusive and functional for all users. At its core, the role is dedicated to the proactive maintenance and remediation of web platforms and university-sponsored software. This position will work in close collaboration with DoIT Associate VP, University Communication and Marketing (UCM) and the Division of Institutional Equity to support digital accessibility initiatives.
