Interested applicants must apply online by visiting the Denver Public Schools job board at careers.dpsk12.org . ** About this job: The Athletic Trainer (AT) will perform services within the scope of practice as defined by Colorado Medical Practice Act, C.R.S. 12-36-106 and the Athletic Trainer Practice Act, C.R.S 12-29-101. 2. Duties include the prevention, evaluation, documentation, education, immediate care, referrals, coordination of care of athletic injuries and communicating with coaches, athletes and their parents. The priority of the AT will be coverage of practices and events as well as the support of all student-athletes, parents, coaches and school administrators under the direction of sports medicine medical director and school athletic director.
