Description DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: The Dietician or Nutritionist will split time between the Residential Program and the Article 16 clinic. At the Article 16 clinic, the Dietitian/Nutritionist will serve as a clinical provider, promoting healthy lifestyle habits and helping clients make informed food choices within their abilities. The role will include nutritional assessment and Medical Nutrition Therapy (MNT). Providing clinical interventions for diabetes management, weight gain/loss programs, gastrointestinal disorders (constipation, GERD), dysphagia diets (in conjunction with speech therapy), enteral nutrition management, and any other appropriate dietary interventions. The Dietician/Nutritionist shall be responsible for the assessment of each individual residing at an ACHIEVE home and for the subsequent development of treatment plans, as appropriate.
