Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant - Gastroenterology (SWMN)

Job description

The Gastroenterology (GI) Department is seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant/Associate to join their busy, growing community practice. The Advanced Practice Provider (APP) will have primarily clinic responsibilities but will eventually be trained to cover the inpatient practice if our hospital APP is away on PTO or at guard duty. The APP will work collaboratively with all GI physicians and work independently to provide for the patient’s needs. This position requires direct patient care and telemedicine. Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to: During the selection process you may participate in an OnDemand (pre-recorded) interview that you can complete at your convenience. During the OnDemand interview, a question will appear on your screen, and you will have time to consider each question before responding. You will have the opportunity to re-record your answer to each question – Mayo Clinic will only see the final recording. The complete interview will be reviewed by a Mayo Clinic staff member and you will be notified of next steps.
