SAP Basis Specialist based in India - SAP BASIS / HANA / Sol Manager / Backups - Remote Duties: Mid level SAP Consultant with good technical BASIS Background Having worked with Install/upgrade/remove database software. - Software patch application. - Install/upgrade/remove information on servers. - Database infrastructure software/tools management. - Create/upgrade/remove database. - Patch rollout execution. - Execute database level parameter changes. - Update/refresh statistics. - Database environment support. - Request to check privilege profiles from clients. - Execute deployments. - Blocking lock detection and resolution. - Initial troubleshooting and re-starting broken database jobs. - Database migration execution. - Starting and shutting down databases and/or database services. - Database refreshes/database cloning. - Database security/account/role/privilege management. - Schema management and database monitoring. - Working knowledge of processes for continuous integration, code merging and branch management including revision control SW (examples: Jenkins, Bamboo, GIT, SVN) - Working knowledge of build process and automation and deploy processes and automation (Maven, GO, An...
