As part of our expansion, we are currently looking for a suitably motivated - Thermal Engineer - to join our group. What you'll do: - Support structural, thermal, and optomechanical performance (STOP) analysis tasks for spaceborne optical communication systems. - Assist in developing and running analysis workflows to evaluate active and passive thermal control systems on orbit. - Carry out finite element analysis (FEA) and thermal simulations using tools such as Simcenter 3D – Space Systems Thermal, Thermal Desktop, Thermica, or equivalent, with guidance from senior engineers. - Help integrate structural and thermal results into optical performance models (e.g., Zemax OpticStudio, SigFit). - Support environmental testing (thermal vacuum), including setup,...
