Job description

Overview This role is responsible for ensuring safe, high-quality, and efficient operation of the Continuous Tube Mill, including oversight of production processes and basic maintenance tasks. Responsibilities: - Set up and operate welded tube mill machinery in accordance with production specifications and safety protocols. - Monitor and maintain product quality, production rates, and scrap levels to meet operational goals. - Adjust basic tooling and holding fixtures to ensure proper machine function and product conformity. - Perform visual inspections of finished parts to identify defects, burrs, or damage. - Load and unload raw materials and finished parts to and from assigned machines. - Prepare raw materials for processing, including measuring, handling, and staging materials as required. - Observe machine operations to detect malfunctions or defective output; report issues promptly to Team Leader or Supervisor. - Perform routine cleaning and basic maintenance of machinery and tools. - Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area in compliance with company housekeeping and safety standards. - Other duties as assigned.
