Description: Landscapers, under the direction of a Crew Leader, constructs, plants, maintains, and repairs new landscape areas in assigned sections of campus. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: - Operates ground maintenance equipment including lawn movers, trimmers, edgers, backpack and street blowers and pressure washer equipment. - Prunes trees and shrubs. - Removes trash and debris from assigned areas of campus. - Monitors and activates irrigation systems. - May apply fertilizer and pesticides to landscape areas. - May drive utility vehicles to and from worksites. - Performs related responsibilities as required. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: NOTE: Position tasks are required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location; working remote is not an option.
