Employment Type: Full time Shift: 12 Hour Night Shift Description: Our Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) has 10 beds and provides advanced, specialized support for newborns who need additional monitoring or intermediate‑level care, allowing families to remain together within the same unit. Together, these features reflect our commitment to safety, compassion, and high‑quality maternal and newborn care. JOB SUMMARY: This position accepts the responsibility and accountability for the delivery of patient care with the multidisciplinary team while using the nursing process and maintaining professional nursing standards. NICU Nurse is specifically responsible for the care of the well and ill newborn who may require neonatal intensive care services. Birth Center and Pediatrics are considered "sister" units and staff float are expected to float between these units. POSITION QUALIFICATIONS: Current RN licensure in the state of Iowa required.
