Worker Type Regular: Job Description: Summary: The Sr. Environmental Health & Safety Specialist will partner with EHS team members, production leaders and cross-functional team leaders to improve workplace performance by assessing work environments, systems, processes, and procedures. This role works with other specialists and leaders in conducting tests and measuring hazards to help prevent harm to workers, property, the environment and the general public. In this role, one inspects work areas and equipment to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal safety policies and regulations. The Sr. EHS Specialist will also promote an incident-free workplace through identifying and mitigating EHS risk and implementing safety and environmental management systems in accordance with regulations, corporate compliance policies and standards.
