Job Summary: DT Professionals is seeking a Training and Development Specialist to join our team in Port Hueneme, CA. This role will provide support/assume responsibilities for Office of Workforce Development programs such as the command’s competency training program and workforce development internal and external programing. Responsibilities: - Conduct research for programs and opportunities available to the workforce for further development training opportunities for the general workforce. - Assist with various aspects of training classes such as opening classes and other associated tasks in support of the competencies and Command Interest Program Managers. - Provide Waypoints training and information to the workforce. Develop and maintain various metrics. - Do needs assessments and hold a mid-level to advanced level of comprehension and writing skills for creating documents such as SOPs and Statements of Work. - Is proactive, organized, on-time, produces quality products in a timely manner, organized, dependable, available for work, strong communication skills – written and verbal, self-starter, able to work independently, able and willing to follow instruction, takes initiative...
