Carpenter Co. has an immediate opening for a Matchup/String Tier (Operator A) on 1st shift at our Taylorsville, NC manufacturing plant. Carpenter Co. employees are committed to working hard to ensure production goals are met while maintaining operations excellence. This position is responsible for filling pillows / cushion ticks (covers) with natural feather, down or polyester fiber products. Lifting on a repetitive basis is required with this position. Education: High school diploma or GED. - Group customer item numbers together by style number, purchase number, and date. - Once matched up, string tie into sets per customer request.
