THIS POSITION IS LOCATED IN KINGSPORT, TN: Market Range: 04: Hiring Salary: $18.54/Hourly: JOB SUMMARY/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: The Clinical Dental Assistant provides chairside assistance for faculty, residents, and DDS students in the College of Dentistry. While this position will primarily be housed in the pre-doctoral clinic, this position works in various other clinics in the College on an as needed basis. EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. (TRANSCRIPT REQUIRED) EXPERIENCE: This is an entry-level position. Must maintain registration as a licensed dental assistant in the State of Tennessee. Nitrous Oxide Monitoring and Radiology Certification required. (PROOF OF LICENSURE IS REQUIRED). LICENSE/CERTIFICATION: A Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) in the State of Tennessee, with certification in radiology and nitrous oxide monitoring, is required.
