R&D Specialist II YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES: This position works collaboratively with the Genomics & Sequencing team members of Precision Genomics. The role will be responsible for delivering weekly targets for high quality RNA extractions from diverse material utilizing liquid handler-based automation and specialized laboratory equipment. The role will utilize technical knowledge to assess extraction quality and troubleshoot when required. The primary responsibilities of this role, R&D Specialist II, are to: - Complete various lab experiments and processes in alignment with the weekly work queue and prioritized by the team; Solve routine problems requiring original thinking and deductive reasoning of diverse procedures within specialized laboratory technology; - Be skilled in organizing and reporting specialized reports, including analyzing and interpreting the results of experiments, production KPIs, cost/benefit analysis, and lab related issues to partners and key stakeholders; - Thrive on meeting challenges, insist on high quality deliverables, demonstrate effective problem-solving skills, and have proven initiative in some categories of accomplishments, either individual...
