Zoox is expanding its focus within the IT Platform team to further our mission of providing Autonomous Mobility. We are seeking an experienced Cloud Engineer to support and enhance our use of AWS services. This role involves working cross-functionally with multiple engineering teams to ensure the best practices in cloud infrastructure. Qualifications: - Technical and Business Relationship: Maintain and manage the technical and business relationship between Zoox and its cloud providers. - Cost Management: Understand and maintain costs associated with Zoox's cloud platforms, ensuring cost efficiency and optimization. - AWS Best Practices: Implement AWS best practices for security, operations, cost management, resiliency, and performance across Zoox's cloud platforms. - Cloud Center of Excellence: Establish and lead a cloud center of excellence to drive innovation, efficiency, and best practices in cloud infrastructure. - Hybrid Cloud Strategy: Collaborate with multiple engineering teams to refine and enhance Zoox's hybrid cloud strategy. - AWS/GCP Expertise: Strong understanding of cloud products and services in a production environment, including infrastructure, capacity planning, s...
