Staff Software Engineer, Global Network Technology

Job description

Minimum qualifications: - Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience. - 8 years of experience in software development in either (C, C++, Python, Java or Go). - 5 years of experience testing, and launching software products. - 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies, storage, or hardware architecture. - 3 years of experience with software design and architecture. Preferred qualifications: - Master’s degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field. - 8 years of experience with data structures and algorithms. - Experience leading the design, architecture, and execution of complex, large-scale distributed systems. - Experience in mentoring engineers and raising the technical bar for the team. - Experience in network engineering, automation, or building large-scale operational tooling with the ability to drive technical strategy and influence roadmaps in a product-centric environment. - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to audiences and influence cross-functional partners.
