Associate - Fixture Shop

Overview The Fixture Shop Associate is responsible for creating fixtures based on custom designs. This position reports to the Fixture Shop Supervisor. This role is focused on building high quality fixtures to support our growing stores. With some travel, this role will occasionally complete onsite repairs or modifications. Duties and Responsibilities: - Support the “Cavender’s Culture” and drive our Mission, Vision, and Values - Construct and assemble fixtures, ensuring all pieces fit the dimensions specified by drawings - Accurately prepare and cut raw materials using provided cut lists - Adhere to all Fixture Shop procedures to create fixtures safely and accurately - Inspect all wood and raw materials before fabrication to ensure high quality finished goods - Operate shop machinery safely and efficiently, in a manner consistent with Fixture Shop policies - When required, finish fixtures utilizing stain, paint, and clear coat - Other duties and responsibilities as assigned Qualifications and Requirements: Cavender’s is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
