Regions Hospital has a full-time opportunity on Day shift for a Safety & Security Officer to join our team! This position is responsible for providing and maintaining a safe and secure environment of the patients, visitors, and staff of Regions Hospital. Regions Hospital is an inner-city Level 1 Trauma Center with a large inpatient mental health care setting. The security officer will proactively build relationships with patients and employees to resolve conflict by using approved conflict resolution techniques, partnering with law enforcement and other community partners to address criminal offenses or emergent situations such as fire, threat to the facility, or violence. Security Officers provide a variety of services ranging from routine patrols, report writing, video surveillance, investigative services and other duties.
