Job Summary The Equipment, Technology and Maintenance (ETM) group is seeking a motivated Summer Engineering Intern to support a wide range of production areas across our campus. ETM plays a key role in maintaining, improving, and supporting equipment used in material growth, optical fabrication, thin-film coatings, and quality assurance. This internship is ideal for a student who enjoys hands‑on engineering work and wants exposure to a broad cross‑section of technologies, processes, and production equipment. We will mentor and support you every step of the way. Primary Duties & Responsibilities: - Assemble and test optical measuring systems. - Assemble. wire and test electrical control panels. - Support general engineering, maintenance and equipment improvement initiatives as assigned. - Enter equipment and maintenance data into computerized maintenance management software (CMMS). Education & Experience: - Completion of a minimum of two years towards a bachelor's degree in Mechanical engineering, Electrical engineering, or an equivalent discipline. - Familiarity with wiring diagrams, schematics, or lab equipment. - Experience with basic hand tools, test equipment, or assembly work....
