Job DetailsJob Location: Omaha Zoo - Omaha, NE 68107Position Type: Part TimeJob Title: Campout Leader FLSA Status: Non-exempt: Classification: Part-Time Regular: Hours: Typical shifts are approximately 16 hours (5:30 PM - 9:30 AM) Pay Rate: $15.40/hour: This is a part-time regular position starting in April and working up to an average of 24 hours per week annually in an ongoing capacity. Work schedules may vary week to week, month to month, or seasonally based on operational needs. Summary: Omaha's Henry Doorly Zoo & Aquarium is seeking a Campout Leader to assist with the Sleeping Bag Safari education program, which hosts overnight educational programming year-round. Programs are held during the week as well as over the weekend. This position reports directly to the Manager of Overnight and Outdoor Experiences. Duties and Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Organizing materials for the evening's events. Lead the programming and interpreting information to the public. Become familiar with assigned group each evening. Facilitate an educational program during the entirety of the campout, which requires presence for the full overnight event.
