Job description

Position Summary: The Project Specialist is responsible for taking lead on planning, developing, managing, and implementing outpatient case management program specific special projects. This includes gathering requirements for the special project through direct interface with the leadership team, other employees within the Outpatient Case Management department, other departments within the company, clients, vendors and administration, as well as occasional workload delegation. This position will assist with creating project outlines, project tracking, regular reporting of project progress, identification of obstacles/barriers, and problem shooting projects to better achieve department goals. The project specialist may assist in department audits; assist with time and resource management throughout the development cycle of the special project; work closely with operations teams to plan, perform, and maintain special products; track project deadlines and hold accountable to meet all deadlines; monitor project progress and outcomes of special projects; provide oral and written presentations as requested to share special projects with other departments and external entities.
