Talen Energy is seeking an Mechanical Engineer for our Montour Steam Electric Station located in near Washingtonville, Pennsylvania. EOE M/F/D/V This position is responsible for performing challenging engineering work with varying degrees of direct responsibility and levels of supervision. Specific job positions may include planning, designing and/or overseeing construction, installation, operation and maintenance of components, systems and facilities used in the generation, transmission, distribution and utilization of electrical energy in a power plant facility. Primary responsibilities will be to: - Act as key engineering interface for day-to-day plant maintenance and operations activities. - Support the planning and implementation of maintenance outages. - Focus on maintaining or improving equipment condition and performance, being cognizant of available techniques and practices.
