V2X is seeking a Chief Engineer to join our Engineering team in Indianapolis, IN supporting development and integration of advanced systems including situational awareness displays, mission computers, avionics, sensors, mission equipment, and radar systems. Our Indianapolis facility also supports a variety of other product lines serving multiple Department of Defense (DoD) customers, providing the opportunity to work on a diverse set of programs and roles supporting the continued advancement of your career. The Chief Engineer will support the team and the Program Manager in all aspects of product area execution and customer interface. The position requires in-depth technical domain knowledge, strong communication skills, and ability to build close customer relationships. The Chief Engineer will be part of the leadership team that represents the company to the customer and upper leadership. The Chief Engineer is also responsible to provide technical and programmatic guidance throughout the entire lifecycle to a multi-domain development team, including proactively driving resolutions of issues encountered.
