Rotating - 08 Hour (United States of America) Job Summary: Performs all general housekeeping tasks, according to established routines and procedures. Job Qualifications: EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS: Require the ability to read, write and speak the English language and use of simple arithmetic. Ability to interpret and understand written and oral instructions. Hospital experience as a housekeeper is desirable, although employer may train basic skills and will train for specific procedures within the hospital. SPECIAL PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Sustained physical effort requiring continuity of effort, working with light or average weight material, equipment, etc. Usually, short cycle work requiring continuous activity or the operation of several machines or pieces of equipment. Some reaching, pushing of carts, lifting, carrying, manipulating, stooping, and bending required. SPECIAL JOB HAZARDS: Exposure to contaminated waste, isolation rooms and cleaning chemicals.
