Description The University of Chicago’s Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Science seeks full-time Academic Pediatric Ophthalmologists at any faculty rank. Appointees will provide patient care in pediatric ophthalmology, including strabismus and retinopathy of prematurity; interest and experience in adult strabismus is welcome. Patient care will take place at our main ambulatory building in Hyde Park and Comer Children’s Hospital, and other sites as determined by the needs of the Department. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation are dependent upon qualifications.
