Department: 10010 AH at Home HME Administration - Administration Status: Full time Benefits Eligible: Yes Hou rs Per Week: 40 Schedule Details/Additional Information: Monday thru Friday 8:30 am thru 5:00 pm Pay Range: $22.90 - $34.35 Essential Functions: Physical Requirements Work requires long periods of sitting and manual dexterity. - Educates patients on the proper use of equipment and/or services offered. - Verifies primary payers for coverage criteria and communicates any financial obligation to the customer. - Obtains initial pre-certification or authorization for prescribed equipment and/or services as dictated by patient's insurance. - Researches qualifying reimbursement data in effort to create initial clean claims for third party payers. - Confirms all deliveries of equipment and/or services in the billing system monthly. Education, Experience and Certifications: High School Diploma or GED required. 2 years' experience in a medical retail, medical office setting or equivalent combination of training, education, and experience.
