POSITION SUMMARY: Under the direction of the Manager and Supervisors of Environmental Services, the Aide is responsible for maintaining the Medical Center in a clean and orderly fashion. This is accomplished by following the established cleaning standards. Education: License/Certification/Registration: - High school diploma or G.E.D. or six (6) moths previous job experience required - Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in order to successfully complete housekeeping duties. - Ability to use housekeeping equipment. - Knowledge of basic principles of cleaning - Basic computer skills - Ability to read, write, add, subtract. - None required. SUPERVISION RECEIVED: Receives general supervision from the Manager and Supervisors of Environmental Services. SUPERVISION GIVEN: None:  ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: - Performs cleaning duties in assigned areas. - Follows established procedures when completing duties as assigned. - Performs duties that include damp dusting, wet mopping, vacuuming, trash pickup, cleaning and making of beds, wheelchair and litter cleaning, spot cleaning walls, vents, and floors, and replenishing all assigned areas. - Completes assignment according to specific...
