College Graduates in Environmental Science are encouraged to apply. An Engine Testing-Field Project Technician can manage engine testing field test programs with minimal supervision. This role mobilizes various types of testing equipment to collect sampling emissions data from industrial combustion engines. The primary type of equipment operated is a Fourier-transform infrared spectrometers (FTIR). Additionally, this role serves as the company’s in-field representative to interface with clients and regulatory personnel. Essential Functions: - This position reports directly to the Engine Testing Manager and performs the duties they are assigned. - Conducts on‐site field testing (generally as a solo analyst) – Proven competencies with sampling methodologies through standardized written standard operating procedures. - Follows current standards, codes, and procedures regarding safe and effective use of equipment, maintenance programs and other policies as required. - Ensures the company is represented in a professional manner while at customer sites and in the office. - Trains new hire Engine Testers on field procedures, test methods, calibrations, etc., following Operations Excellenc...
