Delta Solutions & Strategies is actively seeking a full time Safety Specialist at Shaw Air Force Base, SC. What you will be doing: - Review, develop, and prepare positions and responses to Numbered Air Force (NAF) and MAJCOM ACC taskings in accordance with (IAW) the Flight Safety Action Officer (FSAO) handbook and other-directed guidance. - Attend safety meetings, conferences, working groups, and symposiums in which broad aspects of Safety (SE) operations are discussed. Coordinate any required Government decisions with appropriate division leadership. - Prepare command-level safety briefs and staff packages, IAW the FSAO handbook and other-directed guidance. - Prepare reports, memos, letters, forms, briefings, and other documents using Microsoft Word, Excel, Access databases, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat software. - Answer office phones, provide information to callers, and take messages or forward calls to appropriate individuals. - Edit, modify, and maintain the applicable SE branch calendar with personal schedule to include appointments, leave, vacation, and travel. - Manage assigned classified and unclassified e-mails/task and Task Management Tool (TMT) tasks and ensure all res...
