TAMPA SPORTS AUTHORITY: DEPARTMENT/SECTION: Finance: POSITION TITLE: Accounting Manager - FT EH – ($72,800 - $116,600 Annually) POSITION CLASSIFICATION: Tenured: GENERAL DESCRIPTION: The Accounting Manager is responsible for financial functions producing accurate and expedient processing of general ledger, cash receipts, the accounts payable journal, the accounts receivable journal, Point of Sale financial information, bank reconciliations, deposits and cash reconciliation functions for Raymond James Stadium, the Hillsborough County Tournament Sportsplex, and the Authority managed golf courses. The Authority is also anticipated to manage additional facilities in the next few years. The Accounting Manager is responsible for ensuring that all accounting entries comply with Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and the standards promulgated by the Government Accounting Standards Board (GASB) for public entities. In addition, the Accounting Manager must understand the principles of the Florida Single Audit Act.
