Laundry Attendant

Job description

Responsible for performing a variety of laundry operations, including sorting and folding linens and garments, while ensuring all items meet established quality and quantity standards and are completed and delivered in a timely manner. Folds and stacks in bins all miscellaneous items including rugs, bedspreads and shower curtains. High school graduate or equivalent preferred Acts as a role model to other Team Members and always presents oneself as a credit to Caesars Entertainment and encourages others to do the same. Adheres to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures - Counts items for the day and inventories outgoing items. - Removes all foreign materials from linen and uniforms, including personal clothing or articles, silverware and trash. - Disposes of foreign materials in accordance with established procedures. - Sorts soiled laundry based on type & color of item and degree of soil. - Feeds sheets, pillowslips, napkins and table linen into folder and ironer equipment. - Presses select articles using appropriate equipment. - Inspects finished items for quality control, ensuring standards are met and maintained. - Maintains flow rack, including tying bund...
