About the Role: The Manufacturing Shift Lead is responsible for overseeing operations during a specific shift in a manufacturing facility. Their primary goal is to ensure that production runs smoothly, safely, and efficiently while meeting quality and productivity targets. In addition, the Lead will work as a Fabricator and will read and interpret work orders and blueprints to complete fabrication projects in a safe, quality and efficient manner. This position requires someone that is detail oriented with strong fabrication skills and the ability to complete routine to intricate projects. In this role, you will: Lead Expectations - Supervise and coordinate the activities of production workers during the shift. - Assign tasks and monitor performance of team members. - Provide training, coaching, and support to team members. - Serve as the main point of contact for workers on the shift. - Monitor and optimize workflow to maintain high productivity and efficiency. - Communicate with other shifts and departments to ensure smooth transitions and operations. - Enforce safety policies and procedures on the production floor. - Conduct regular safety checks and report incidents or hazards....
